Join us for a moving performance of Considering Matthew Shepard by Craig Hella Johnson. This powerful oratorio reflects on the life and legacy of Matthew Shepard, weaving together poetry, personal reflections, and diverse musical styles to tell a story of loss, compassion, and hope. After the performance, stay for a conversation with Greg R. Baird, a Matthew Shepard hate crime historian and longtime educator, and Executive Producer of a documentary on his story. His talk, A Turning Point in LGBTQ+ History: Matthew Shepard’s Legacy 28 Years Later & Why It Still Matters, will be followed by Q&A.
