Requiem
This fall, we embark on a profound and emotive journey with Giuseppe Verdi’s monumental masterpiece, the Verdi Requiem, in a unique chamber arrangement by Michael Betzner-Brandt. This timeless work, composed in memory of the Italian poet Alessandro Manzoni, is a tour de force of choral and orchestral grandeur. From the haunting opening bars of the “Requiem aeternam” to the thrilling “Dies Irae,” Verdi’s Requiem is a captivating blend of drama, beauty, and spiritual depth. Prepare to be moved as we bring this iconic work to life on stage.
